I Love Juventus

A defeat in the game versus Cesena yesterday might have been curtains for the manager of AC Milan, Filippo Inzaghi, but, that did not happen to be the case.

It was a convincing victory for Milan there at their home ground which not only kept them in top 10 in the league table, but, also gave Inzaghi some time to try and save his job.

After being by sacked Ac.Milan in January of 2014, Massimiliano Allegri decided to extend his career in Serie A by taking charge of Juventus as he replaced Antonio Conte. So far, things have been going superb for Allegri as his club is located at the top of Serie A with more than 6 points of advantage over their nearest rivals As.Roma.

Everything seems to be smooth sailing for Juventus as the Italian club is well on their way of securing their 4th successive Serie A title.

Despite dominating for much of the match, Juventus were unable to get a victory against Napoli in the latest Super Cup meeting between the two teams. Carlos Tevez has been in superb form this campaign and he scored two goals against Napoli.

However, the Italian Serie A leaders were pegged back on both occasions by Napoli’s Gonzalo Higuain. Tevez opened the scoring after just five minutes and it took Napoli 68 minutes to equalise. Both teams were unable to find the net once again in normal time and the match went into extra time.

Massimiliano Allegri kick-started his career as the manager of Juventus in a superb form as he has guided to the top of Serie A as the Italian manager is attempting to push Juventus to their 4th consecutive Italian League title.

The responsibilities of Allegri does not only lie within the boundaries of Italy with the Serie A but also extend throughout Europe as Allegri is also expected to get Juventus past the group stages of the Champions League.

French international and Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba says that he wants to become one of the best players in the world. The former Manchester United man is fast becoming one of the noted personalities in the centre of the park. He was regarded as someone with a lot of promise, but his free transfer to Juventus appears to have taken him to another level. Even though Andrea Pirlo has received widespread acclaim for helping the club win three consecutive league titles, it is clear that Pogba has also been one of the major influences.

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has managed to seamlessly carry over from his predecessor Antonio Conte by winning the opening two matches in the league. The opening day victory over Chievo was recently followed by a comfortable win over Udinese, which has put them as one of the three teams that have a 100% record after two games in the season. Juventus are one of the favourites to win the league title after having been champions three times in succession. More importantly, the club are also targeting a better European campaign this time around after having been knocked out of the group stages of the Champions League last season.

The play maker of Sunderland FC, Jack Rodwell, believes that his lack of match appearances at his former club Manchester City was the main reason why he wasn’t selected in the England national squad for the FIFA World Cup 2014.
Rodwell had got the opportunity to play for the Three Lions for the first time at the senior level in 2011. He was an Everton player at that point of time and had been a regular there.

New AC Milan manager Filippo Inzaghi has revealed that he has taken a lot of advice from top managers like Carlo Ancelotti and Antonio Conte. Conte is thought to enjoy a great relationship with Inzaghi, who is one of the revered strikers in the history of Milan. After spending the last few seasons coaching the youth team, Inzaghi was recently appointed as head of the Milan team. The club recently part ways with Clarence Seedorf – six months after his appointment. Inzaghi was favourite to take over the role even before Seedorf was sacked.

Manchester United have become the latest club to be linked heavily with a move for Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal after their new manager Louis van Gaal confirm that the Chilean is one of his favourite players. The 26-year-old has been one of the best midfielders in the world over the last few years. However, his talents have not been used to the maximum at Juventus since the Italian club have been unable to make a switch impact in the Champions League. With the player at his best level, it is understood that he is keen on the prospect of lifting the European cup in his career.

Juventus’ hopes of reaching the Europa league final were dealt a major blow after they were knocked at the semi-final stage after a 2-1 aggregate loss at the hands of Benfica. The first leg finished as a 2-1 win for the Portuguese outfit. This was followed by a 0-0 draw in Turin. Juventus were especially looking forward to reaching the final since it would be at their home patch. However, they are unable to find the crucial opening goal in the second leg and it finished as a draw.
