Following speculation linking Juventus winger Mauro Camoranesi with a move away from Turin this summer, the player’s agent confirmed today that he is now set to discuss to a contract extension with the club.
“In the middle of next week I'll come to Italy,” Sergio Fortunato told Tuttojuve.
“There is the possibility of renewing his contract for another year. I spoke to [sporting director] Alessio Secco yesterday and we agreed that we will meet when I come in Italy.”
“Hopefully we can reach an agreement, although there are alternatives, Mauro’s priority is to stay with Juventus.”
The Argentinian born Italian international had been linked with a move away from Serie A, with Marseille said to be his most likely destination, however it now looks as if the former World Cup winner will stay with the Bianconeri.
