JUVE NOT INTERESTED IN TEVEZ

Juventus have confirmed that they are not looking to sign troubled Argentine striker Carlos Tevez from Manchester City. The striker has not played for Manchester City for over three months now, ever since he refused to play in the Champions League match against Bayern Munich.

Since then, he has been fined almost £2 million by the club and is currently in Argentina after going against the conditions of the club. It looks like his Manchester City career is all but over after Roberto Mancini confirmed that he is not in his plans. Even though Manchester City can afford to keep him without having to worry about paying a lot of wages – which are around £250,000 a week - they are looking to offload him simply to avoid any more trouble with him.

It has been thought that Carlos Tevez is open to a move to Italy, although he initially favoured a return to his South American home. Recently, Carlos Tevez confirmed in an interview that he is open to a move to Italy. Following that admission, a number of Italian clubs have expressed their interest in the striker, who has scored plenty of goals when he has played for City.

He is certainly not short of talent, but he does come with certain amount of baggage that one needs to deal with. AC Milan and Inter Milan have been the clubs Carlos Tevez has been rumoured to move. However, fellow Italian club Juventus have been quick to dismiss any suggestions that Tevez will be moving to Juventus.

Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marotta said, "Tevez is a player that doesn't interest us. Absolutely not, we're not interested. If we were to make an attacking signing we'll stay calm and evaluate what to do."

Manchester City rejected a £40 million offer from Corinthians for Tevez in the summer.
