Having already won the Serie A title for 4 successive seasons, it really doesn’t come as a surprise to know why Juventus are one of the top dogs for winning the Italian league once again but it won’t be as easy as it was in the previous seasons.
One of the things that many people just overlook is the fact that Juventus has released or sold some of their best players. Carlos Tevez made his way to his childhood club River Plate, Juventus joined the MLS and Arturo Vidal was sold to Bayern Munich for around €38 million.
All of these 3 players were the backbone of Juventus in the past few seasons. Tevez was the main goal-scorer, Arturo Vidal without doubt was one of the best midfielders not only of Juventus but in the entire Serie A and Andrea Pirlo even at his elevated age still managed to control the pace of the midfield and was the man in charge to take almost all the set-pieces as his accuracy when it comes to passing the ball is still world class.
Paulo Dybala, Mario Mandzukic, Sami Khedira and Daniele Rugani are some of the most prominent players which have been signed as a way to deal with the departures of the previously mentioned performers.
These new arrivals have what it takes to fill in the gap that was left by the recent departed players but it will still take time for this newly shaped Juventus to form itself and they have recently been struggling after having lost against Borussia Dortmund and only barely managed to squeeze a win over LechiaGdańsk.
Allegri now has to structure his new team in time for the upcoming Italian League. Juventus are still considered to be the favorites of winning the Serie A silverware once again but they might not be as powerful as they used to and Ac.Milan as well as Inter Milan are preparing their own squads to take away the title from Juventus.
